Performances :

The Superstar jest dominates every bit to walk away with appreciation and Rajini plays his character with out any punch lines. The body language and the dialogue delivery in the film remind you of the golden Rajini time. Amazing dance performance by superstar. Aishwarya Rai remains as the central character, she scores brownie points with her dancing and gorgeous looks. She doesn’t have any other footage and the way she keeps herself looking at the scientific researches of Rajnikanth is literally odd.

Santhanam and Karunaas as assistant scientists have been unintentionally included and anyone could have made up for the role. Danny Denzongpa is at his best and his shocking culmination before climax leaves us puzzled about what’s gonna happen next. As a catalyst, he has done his job perfect and his characterization is nitty-gritty.

Music :

‘Kilimanjaro’ deserves praises for its stunning visuals and cinematographer Rathinavelu deserves pat for his outstanding works. ‘ Arima Arima’ can be watched for its grandiloquent art works and made people to shout 'Once More'. A decent background score by A.R. Rahman.

Technology :

It is verbally impossible to describe that scene and many other visual effects! Editing by Antony is crisp. Had the length been a little longer, the party would have been a little annoying!

Verdict : A completely different film in Indian Cinema - Must go for it..
