Super Star Rajinikanth who was reportedly close to deceased actor Vishnuvardhana is in plans to remake the Kannada star's flick 'Aptha Rakshaka' into Tamil.

Recently Rajinikanth had been moved to tears when he watched the preview of 'Aptha Rakshaka'. He had played the lead role in the Tamil remake of the prequel to the flick 'Aptha Mitra'. He now wants to reprise Dr.Vishnu's role in the Tamil version. According to sources, there is a major chance that the film will be remade into Tamil.

The Kannada version, which is readying itself for a February 19th release has been directed by sought after director P Vasu.
