'Vaaliban' is produced by Nic Arts Chakrvarthy. This is a love story and it will be directed by Simbu. Sarth Kumar's daughter Varalakshmi and Sruthi Hasan are being approached for the female leading role. The heroine is yet to be finalized. Yuvan Shankar Raja will be score music for the movie.

Shooting for the film was spposed to have started last month itself. But as Simbu was busy with the promotion of 'VTV' it did not happen. It will be starting by the end of this month.
