Sri Siva Selvanayagi Amman Movies is producing a film, Kanden, which will have Shanthanu as the hero. This movie’s inaugural pooja was held at AVM Studios recently. Pandia Rajan began the proceedings by giving the clap, Prabhu Deva switched on the camera and K Bhagyaraj directed the first shot that was filmed on Shanthanu.

The movie will be directed by Mukhil who has also taken care of the story, screenplay, and dialogues. Vijay Ebenezar has scored the music for the flick. The songs have been written by Vaali, Thamarai and Girish. Other technicians associated with Kanden are Camera man Prasad D Misale, Editing by Thyagu, Art by Anand and Stunt by Selvam.
