Mani Ratnam's much expected Tamil film 'Raavanan' will be released in the US on Jube 18. Big Pictures will release the Tamil and Telugu versions of the movie in over 40 screens across 30 cities in the US including there BIG Cinemas theatres.

In the Tamil version of the movie starring Aishwarya Rai and Vikram in lead role. Abhishek Bachchan, is playing the lead role opposite Aishwaraya Rai in the Hindi version titled as 'Raavan'. Vikram and Prithviraj playing the lead roles with Aishwaraya Rai in Telugu version, the film has titled as 'Villain'.

The producers are claiming 'Raavanan' to be one of the biggest releases of South India films in the US. They are targeting that vast regional market there.
