After taste the success of 'Aayirthil Oruvan' and its Telugu version 'Yuganiki Okadu', Selvaraghavan was offered to make a bilingual film with Rana of 'Leader' fame, donning the lead character. Indeed, the producers of the film had offered Selvaraghavan a whooping sum of Rs. 2 Crores as an advance.

Off late, there were rumors that this project has been shelved due to a difference of opinion between Selvaraghavan and the producers. But the filmmaker has says that they will be making the official announcement shortly.

The film is reported to be an unusual story is set in 50 B.C. Selvaraghavan is busy working on the script and research.

Raana mentioned on Twitter that the project with Selvaraghavan will take off shortly and they’re into finalizing the cast now.
