Director Badri Vekatesh's long waited release film 'Baana Kaathadi' is all set to release on August 6th. The popular Kollywood actor Murali's son Atharva is playing the lead role in the film and the beauty Samantha is pairing up with him. Also another heroine Prasaana is playing a prominent character. The film is produced by Senthil Thyagarajan and T Arjun of 'Sathyajyothi Film' and the music has been scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

The film is about two young lovers in North Chennai who are passionate kite lover whose entire revolves around the kites and competitions concerning to it.
