'Inception' which was released across 3792 locations on July 16th worldwide. The Leonardo Dicaprio film has taken in collections of $60.40 million in its opening weekend in North America and grabbed the top spot at the box office for the past weekend.

'Inception' is Dicaprio's biggest opening weekend so far leaving behind last year's 'Shutter Island', which opened at $41.1 million.
