Last week's release 'Kalavani' didn't witness a good opening due to lack of publicity during pre-release period. Soon after gaining appreciations and good reviews, the film has made it bigger on charts now. In most of theaters of Tamil Nadu, the shows have been increased and the producers are elated with house packed shows.

'Kalavani' marks the directorial debut of Sargunam and is produced by Naseer under the banner of Sherali Films. Vimal of Pasanga fame and Oviya newcomer have donned the lead role.

With this film doing well at the box office, the expectations on Vimal's upcoming films have increased.
