Madhavan has confirmed that " I am unfortunately unable to do 3 Idiots in Tamil and Telugu. I am really sorry about that" as Madhavan tweeted. Maddy has refused Shankar's offers of repeating his role in Tamil and Telugu remake along with Vijay, Simbu and Mahesh Babu.

The actors reason for refusing this offer is his prior commitments with other projects. The actor has signed lots of Hindi projects.Apart from these movies, Maddy is make his comeback in Kollywood with Kamal's 'Manmadhan Ambu'.
