After the grand success of 'Angadi Theru' the actress Anjali is seems to be become as popular actress. Currently the actress is busy in the shooting of 'Karungali' which is directed by Kalanjian.

Anjali says that "I have a performance oriented role in it. I play a girl called Amudha and am paired opposite newcomer Shriram . Currently shooting an important sequence for the film".

And she adds that "After 'Katradhu Tamizh' and 'Angadi Theru' most of them approached me to play only heavy role. But i wish to do some funny and light-hearted films".
