Aamir Khan productions 'Peepli Live' has taken a decent opening at the box office on its 1st day.

The film has gross Rs 40 million (Rs 4 crore) across India on Friday. It was distributed by UTV Motion Pictures and has been released more than 600 screens.

Peoples takes and movie review has also been good and the film is likely to have a good run over the weekend.
