Earlier there is an buzz that Jeeva and Tapasee starrer 'Vandhaan Vendraan' is a remake of 'I Hate Luv Storys' and the film posters resembles 'IHLS'.

But Director Kannan says that "'Vandhaan Vendraan' is not remake of 'I Hate Luv Storys', 'VV' story and screenplay is completely mine. This film is a romantic film set in an action backdrop and its a commercial entertainer.

And the director admires that "We shot 18 promo stills for the film and two were inspired by the designs of 'IHLS'".

Shooting of the film start from September 20.
