The much hyped Ajith's golden jubilee film 'Manakatha' shooting started from October 25th. The first schedule of the film is going in Chennai now and shooting will take place in Chennai till November 7. Today October 31st a duet songs which has Ajith and Trisha is going to shoot .

Source close to the unit says that the unit will fly to Bombay for a month for the next schedule. Then the unit moves to Hyderabad to shot the scenes which involve Nagarjuna.

Source adds that the directer Venkat Prabhu is planning finish the film within 3 months. As reported earlier the film will hit the screens on Ajith birthday May 1st 2011.
