The popular television Vj Masheshwari has turned as actress in Karu Pazhaniappan's 'Mandhira Punnagai'. Masheshwari role in the film was small, but it has still fetched her enough appreciation and honors her.

Director Cheran who has seen the film has very much impressed with the way she had handled the role in the film. Masheshwari says that Cheran has congratulated me for the fine performance and admitted that he did not realize that it was me.
