Now its official that Ajith golden jubilee flick 'Mankatha' will release on Ajith's birthday on May 1st as planned earlier. Few days back there is an official announcement made from the producers Dayanidhi Alagiri and Vivek Karunakaran of Cloud Nine Movies.

They have wrapped up two schedules, first schedule in Mahabalipuram and the second schedule in Bangkok. Currently the shooting is under progressing smoothly at Chennai. Art director Ritesh have erected a huge set of Dharavi slum area in three different places in Chennai.

The next schedule of the shooting will be in Mumbai and Hyderabad.
