Maniratnam’s much anticipated flick of the year ‘Raavan’ film rights have been sold at a price of Rs. 350 Crores. Industry traders are expecting that the movie will do the business up to Rs 550 Crores.

Sources say that the film entire rights have been bought by Reliance and Sony and after the release of the film; Maniratnam will have no rights on the film. As the film casts Vikram, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Rasool Pookutty and A R Rahman the expectations have been raised and are expecting great business from the film release day June 18.
