The latest movie in the Shrek series is out now and it is named ‘Shrek Forever After’. It is the 4th movie in the series and if the industry reports are to be believed then it will be the last movie in the series. The latest Shrek movie succeeds in presenting the viewers with some fun and thrill that was supposedly lacking in the earlier version. In it we see the lovable green ogre Shrek getting bored of the chores of conjugal life and decide to take a break and re-enter his early carefree life. Eager to get back in his bachelor days Shrek signs a deal with the ill-natured Rumpelstiltskin that enables him to get back into his early life for a single day. However, he soon finds him trapped in a trick and finds it hard to get back to his regular life.

Shrek finds it hard to believe in this new world his friend donkey does not know him and Puss-in-Boots has also changed. Fiona transforms into a warrior princess who dislikes him to his dismay. However, the only way to escape the horror is by befriending his donkey and wooing Fiona. This seems to be a pretty uphill task for him, thanks to the monstrosities of the evil minded Rumpelstiltskin and his witches.

The critics have predicted that the new Shrek film will prove to be a block buster. It is going to collide with the recently released “Iron Man 2″. The voiceovers by Cameron Diaz and Antonio Banderas are excellent as always. The 3D effects also look awesome.
