Raghava Lawrence has started work on 'Kanchana', a sequel to his earlier hit film 'Muni'. Earlier there was an reports that the beauty Anushka will play the female lead role in the film. But, Lawrence says that she is not in the film.

Lawrence says that he put in a lot of groundwork and he is happy to start work on this project finally. He adds that the film 'Kanchana' will be completely different from the previous film 'Muni' and it will be even more entertaining.

He has retained most stars from 'Muni', though Raj Kiran sir will not be in the film. And he has roped Lakshmi Rai to do a very important role in the film.
