The actress Sameera Reddy who is busy in London for shooting of Priyadarshan's next with Anil Kapoor and Ajay Devgn. But now the actress heard about the 40th Anniversary Celebrations of the Tamil Film Directors Association being conducted in a grand manner from director Gautham Menon, she has decided to be a part of the function. And she let off the shooting for couple of days and she come to Chennai for the event.

She says that "Its amazing that the entire industry is coming together for it, She really wanted to be a part of it and so drove overnight to London from the shooting spot and immediately took a flight to India".
